The eyes are the best targets to go for after you've cleared The Hungry. Fighting The Wall of Flesh The Wall of Flesh is as tall as the screen. Do not do this if he's already dead, meaning you must wait until he respawns if you want to farm the Wall - it'll just waste a Voodoo Doll. You can pick it up so long as you make the kill over land or a platform, then throw it in yourself to summon the Wall of Flesh when you're ready. The Demon will spawn once in a while, and if killed over lava it will drop the Guide Voodoo Doll in and initiate the boss fight. You can collect the Voodoo Doll and use it later to farm from trophies, the Wall of Flesh mask, and the important Emblem accessories he drops.Īnother aspect of preparing for this fight is to avoid accidentally killing the Voodoo Demon as it flies over lava. Don't kill this demon over lava until you're ready for the fight. Imagine them extending an aura in a circle, as they do, meaning you don't need to place one as soon as the buff disappears. Place Campfires along this bridge, using your buff panel to see when you're out of range for the regen buff. You can use platforms, but Ash will let Fireblossom spawn on it later, allowing you to harvest plentiful amounts of them later.

If you don't already farm for potions, see my guides to Plants and how to make Potions. Regeneration and Ironskin Potions are recommended, as well as Well Fed. It is much easier to fight ranged, but broadswords can hit the wall of flesh even when you're running away from it because of their arc going over your character's head.
Weapons of that level are also recommended - the type is up to you. Meteor Armor with the Space Gun is perfectly viable, so long as you have 300+ life. You should have at least the Meteor Armor or, preferably, the set you get from Crimson/Corruption bosses in order to kill the Wall of Flesh. Its defeat initiates Hard Mode in your world, where greater challenges await. The Wall of Flesh is the toughest challenge of normal mode in Terraria.
